about

Written and recorded in two days, video another two days.

Song is about a hellish employer. Truth? Fiction?

Strange how it also fits with the death of Margaret Thatcher. Who's worse? Employer (The Quizling) or Thatcher? It's the same thing, different scale we think...and that's not to trivialise what Thatcher did, it's just very true.

So depending what you think of Thatcher could influence how you feel about The Quizling. Heartless is what we think.

lyrics

The quizling came upon us in a most perculiar way
She didn’t even have the gall to emerge into the day
She came in at the dead of night when all were asleeping
And now the natives run around whilst their children are aweeping

She’s the queen of the quizling
A traitor unto herself
Have you ever seen such a quizling
A traitor to everybody else

Excuse me I need a slash,I’ll be back in a flash
Must be all this alcohol that’s streaming through my soul

The quizling she did spread the tales of an unfulfilled lie
The people they did laugh so much they couldn’t even cry
But still she swanned around the place like she was still the queen
It was one of the most laughable sights that anyone had ever seen

She’s the queen of the quizling…

And it was at this point that the quizling really lost her mind

The quizling became confused and forgot who she’d told what when and where
And didn’t know just who to trust when the shit hit that thing over there
Now she’s encaught and entangled in her spiders web design
She clearly didn’t know where to stop or where to draw the line

She’s the queen of the quizling…

She stood at the right hand of the throne
Yet someone had silenced her mobile phone
